I have been in Iceland for about 10 days now. I´ve been busy going for job interviews and can´t wait to start working. Otherwise I´ve been hanging out with friends and visiting my familly and it has been a lot of fun. Last night I went to Agustas wedding and it was beautiful. I put some pics on the link so everyone can see how much fun it was.

This Week was my last week in my business law & ethics in massage therapy. The final wasn't to hard and I did ok. Jokull has been in summer school and is taking two classes. I am really gealous since he only has to be in school from 10 to1 and I have to get up at 7 by my self. Pretty sure the teacher is getting enoyed with me showing up late
Jokull had a test on Tuesday and was best in his class, what a nörd Then he had enother test today where he did good in as well. So this afternoon we went golfing but it was so hot that we quit after 9 holes. Now Jokull is putting the chicken wings on the BBQ and we forgot to get the sauce so better go quick to the store. Until later!

Last Friday we went on a field trip to the police department in Deland and it was quite the experience. The officers came in from duty on their motorcycle and sat in our chairs for massage. They however did not take their weapons or handcuffs off so we where forced to work around them. Very funny, as you can see below.

Jokull and me have been doing some running around for him and Gutti. We found an apartment and cancelled our contract. The new apartment is where two other friends of ours life. So the Icelanders are going to be all together at the same complex.

I only have 6 and a half of school left and I will leave for Iceland on the 2nd of July. Then I need to get a job no more slaking off and doing nothing in the afternoon.

Thank you to all of you that send me messages, calling me etc. I was amazed how many people remembered. My friends from t="on">lace wt="on">Luxembourglace> actually send me flowers and they are still beautiful.
          On Saturday I had a girls night out for the occasion and we had a blast!!! I am defiantly adding the pics of the night. Last Friday I finished Sports massage successfully and after this one week Spring break, business is next . Wonder how that will go!?
          During the break Jokull and me intend to play golf, go to the beach and sleep in. I think that sounds great Our friend Gutti is staying with us until he leaves for Lux on Saturday totally jealous! As you can see I have been insanely laze to write here but hopefully I get my butt in gear... />

After I went to t="on">lace wt="on">Savannahlace>, Frida came to see me with her sister and her friends. We had a blast and had a great spring break, I didn´t really have a spring break so I had to make one Just kidding, I tock a day off to have fun and it was totally worth it!!! Just see the pics!

          Last week I managed to get the flue, you know, the one you can´t breath. It was really frustrating, but at least I didn´t get the same flue the girl next to me in class got. She was put in an isolation room at the ER and tested in every possible way. They found out she has a new strain of "a flue" that can last up to 8 weeks. She has had to drop out of school and not spend time with her family. I feel so sorry for her!

          My sister Oddný was at my parents place in t="on">lace wt="on">Orlandolace> for 10 days. It was so great to see her. Mom, she and I ended up shopping and having so much fun. She left on Monday, I miss her already.

          Last week I finished a class called allied modalities. Some people consider it Voodoo, since it is about eastern philosophy. It was all about how we can do energy work, which is work without actually touching, herbal healing, reflexology, shiatsu (massaging with feet) and so much more. It wasn’t the best class for me at times, but I still got the best grade!!! (Jökull says that I´m a nörd!) />

On Monday we started Sports massage and it is going to be exactly up my alley! />

          Last Friday after school I packed my bags and drove to t="on">lace wt="on">Savannahlace> where the St.Patricks celebration was at its peek. I got there at 5:30PM and started catching up with the others who had started at 11AM. My Friend Frida, her sister Iara and me got ready quickly and walked downtown where we had some dinner. After that we went barhopping but when we finally wanted to go to river street, they had closed it down. So we just went barhopping at other streets until we got tiered and went home. On Saturday we where all going to come together to Daytona, but Iara had a fever and wasn't feeling well. I came back on my own but Frida called me though earlier today and said they where going to come down for a couple of days!!! />

          Jokull is on his Spring break and my school decided to not give us that luxury, slightly frustrating. On Saturday after I got back to Daytona I jumped strait into the shower to get ready for the night. So me and seven other Icelandic boys had a few drinks and then headed down town, needless to say that we had a lot of fun. I posted the pictures on the link. />

          This morning I had to get up at 6Am and felt like strangling Jokull since he got to sleep in. I had to be at a health detoxify center at 7 in the morning. Everyone in the class got a Lymph massage and got an Ionic footbath. The footbath is detoxifying and my water was all brown and green. Very disgusting!!! Fortunately I was done before 10AM and came home for a nice nap and later a round of golf! />

    Two weeks ago my friend Christine came tot="on">lace wt="on" /> visit me for a week. She is a mother of 4 and managed to take this vacation without taken them along. We shopped until we dropped, walked on the beach and laugh a lot. It was so much fun to have a girlfriend around to chat with..
    The day after Christine arrived, I had to send something to Iceland by mail and as I was baking up I bumped into a pick up with 3 Mexican guys in it, who where also backing up on the opposite side of the parking lot. It was very slow and so stupid that neither one saw the other one, but it is just a small bump.
     Last week I finally finished Kinesiology and this week we started a class called allied modalities, for this one you really have to have an open mind!!!!! WE are talking about energy work and Yin Yang. Basically it is a lot of Chinese philosophy involved and we know how they have different ways of thinking about or approaching life. It's interesting though.
     Last Weekend Bike week started and the noise hasn't gone since, there are more bikes than cars in town and they just take their good old time getting around. That is very frustrating for people who live here and need get to places! />

For those who have seen the movie "Days of Thunder" with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise,  probably know what the Daytona500 race is. That is how I know what it is. For other people it might be common knowledge but for girls like me it's not. Anyway, since we leave practically next to those Tracks, there is no way to get anywhere because traffic is a nightmare. The never-ending noise is also a lot of fun, not! But next week it's all over and it will not take me an hour and a half to go to the groceries store to pick up a couple of things.

Last Week the weather was great, 22-28 degrees, a little bit of wind and almost no clouds. It was just great! This week it was slightly different. We had tornado warnings, unbelievably heavy rain and we even had to scrap a thin layer of ice from our car. Since we got over 20 degrees most days, I can't complain.

Tonight we are probably going to BBQ at our place with the guys and maybe go out. I'll be sure to take some more pictures, which reminds me that I put more pics on the link and I think there are a few good ones. />

Last weekend we had a blast, for the first time ever since we moved her, there where bars on the street and we where aloud to have a beer in our hand while standing on the street. There where a lot of people out, nut not as many as I expected. After spending some time on Main Street we went to Rain and then home.

On Monday my new class started, Kinesiology, a class that my friend Megan and me have been dreading. Anyway, it hasn't been so bad and we have pulled straight As all week after taking a test everyday of the Week! Tomorrow I have to study for Mondays test and I should be studying now but I don't think so!!! I have recently taken the decision about moving to Iceland this summer until Jokull graduates and then?????

Yesterday after school, I came home Jokull and I went to the golf course. We played with a couple of older men who where very nice. I think I'm getting Alzheimer’s light because by the third hole I couldn't remember their names. Today we went golfing and where paired up with two German guys who go to Jokulls school, but don't ask me their names either. I guess my head is filled with Kinesiology terms or something hehe. Jokull and me, have had a lot of fun for the past two days golfing, unfortunately I won't be able to do that again until next weekend.

 

Finally I finished! On Wednesday night at 11 I decided I had done enough. You can have a look on my pictures link. I was really proud that the whole thing didn't fall apart. Now this class is over and I'm kind of dreading the next one. On Monday Kinesiology is starting and as far as I've heard it's going to be a month of hell!! It is basically going to be month of a lot of studying and test after test.

Last night Jokull made really good homemade Lasagna and Gutti came for dinner. Hands down best Lasagna I've ever had! Tonight is Mardigraw down town and the Icelandic crowed is going out together, so it's going to be the boys and me! 

A few years ago I didn't think I would say that school was so much fun, but it is!! Like I mentioned the other week, we have Spa Hydrotherapy class right now and it is great. We are learning different kinds of water treatments, body wraps with mud and my absolute favorite is Aromatherapy. My mom had a cold other day before she left and she was not looking forward traveling with a stuffy nose and head aches, so I tried helping her with things I learned in school. First I gave her a steaming hot footbath while I placed a cold wet towel on the back of her neck, which cleared her headache. But after she had her feet in the hot bath for 6 minutes I put them in a different tub with cold water in it and ice cubes, but only for one minute. She didn't like it at first but after we went back and forward like that she felt better. I also but some bath salts in there I made myself with eucalyptus, Tea tree and Lavender essential oils in it. The day after, she felt so much better.

We have a project due next week and I have been working on it for the past two weeks. The project is that I have to built a Spa and since I don't have that much to do I kind of got carried away and have now made a two story, 13 room Spa. I'll post some pictures when I'm done, or should I say if I ever get done with this thing!!! I spend all last weekend on it and it feels like it's a never ending story.

This weekend was a lot of fun, last night I went out with a couple of my friends from school. Megan and me picked up Toni and then went to a place called chaps. Chaps is a country place with an electrical bull, so Toni and I went for a ride and I stayed on 01:01 minutes, kind of funny. After that we went to a club called Razzles and danced for a while. We had a lot of fun. 

I finally managed to steal Jokulls Laptop and download some pics from Desember. There are some pictures missing though. Some because they are still on the Camera and some because they where just straight out bad

Christmas was very different from the ones we have had in Luxembourg and in Iceland, since we spend the day in the Sun and went swimming in the pool that was in the house we stayed in. When I get my computer back from my father I will post some pictures so you can see the house and the pool. My sisters stayed in a hotel on their Vacation here and they had a very bad new years eve. They had asked the restaurant if they could order a table for the evening and they got told that since it was a buffet they did not have to order a table. At 18:30 they where going to go to eat, and the restaurant was full. Obviously that was not good news with a total of 6 kids and my parents to. After giving the people a piece of their mind, they decided that they where going to eat at Tony Roma's and they had to wait 45 min for their Car that the Valley guys had parked the night before. After not finding Tony Roma’s right away my parents decided that they had had enough and went home. When the girls finally got to the restaurant the kids where almost falling asleep over their food. Yes, so their night pretty much "sucked".

Our New year was ok, Jo and me stayed with his family and had a very nice dinner after splashing in the pool and relaxing in the hot tube. After playing a board game we went outside and where going to have a private little firework show, but it was a very little sad show Birkir and Sunneva, Jokulls brother and his girlfriend, left on the 2nd of January. We have been relaxing and playing golf since they left, or at leased until a week ago because that is when my school started again.

This month I'm in Spa Therapy and I like it a lot. WE have a sauna box in our classroom that we sit in with our heads out, it's a lot of fun going in there in the morning when your cold. The cold footbaths on the other hand are less pleasant but educational, I guess . Last Weekend we spend in Orlando since it was Jokulls parents last weekend here. On Saturday we went to the outlet mall and in the evening we went to a seafood restaurant called Oceans 11, where Jokull and his father had King crab leg. They where so huge, you need to have seen it to believe it, unfortunately they weren’t as good as they looked. Yesterday we went golfing and it went so well that we are going again today after school. 

 

Last Thursday Jokulls Family came to Orlando and we have been having a lot of fun. We went shopping at Premium Outlets accept for Jokull and his Dad, who went golfing. On Thursday se sent to Universal and enjoyed our day there. It is incredible how they have built an entire town in different styles. There was a 3D ride with Spiderman that was a lot of fun and very realistic. There was our thing that I don't recommend, it is called the HULK and is a rollercoaster that swirls you around and upside down and in a speed that is unbelievable.

My sisters came on Friday and I spent the Day with them yesterday in the Mall with all the kids. It was a little bit chaotic and the children went swimming in the hotel later. They were so tiered in the evening that they apparently fell asleep before they could eat there dinner! There schedule is a little bit mixed up. I left them last night and went to a Japanese restaurant where they cooked in front of us. We ate way too much and almost had to role out of the restaurant
